I want to share my views on Artificial intelligence(AI)

In computer science, artificial intelligence (AI), sometimes called machine intelligence, is intelligence demonstrated by machines, in contrast to the natural intelligence displayed by humans. Leading AI textbooks define the field as the study of "intelligent agents": any device that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chance of successfully achieving its goals. Colloquially, the term "artificial intelligence" is often used to describe machines (or computers) that mimic "cognitive" functions that humans associate with the human mind, such as "learning" and "problem solving".

HOW DOES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WORK?

LESS THAN A DECADE AFTER BREAKING THE NAZI ENCRYPTION MACHINE ENIGMA AND HELPING THE ALLIED FORCES WIN WORLD WAR II, MATHEMATICIAN ALAN TURING CHANGED HISTORY A SECOND TIME WITH A SIMPLE QUESTION: "CAN MACHINES THINK?" 

Turing's paper "Computing Machinery and Intelligence" (1950), and it's subsequent Turing Test, established the fundamental goal and vision of artificial intelligence.   

At it's core, AI is the branch of computer science that aims to answer Turing's question in the affirmative. It is the endeavor to replicate or simulate human intelligence in machines.

The expansive goal of artificial intelligence has given rise to many questions and debates. So much so, that no singular definition of the field is universally accepted.  

The most powerful example of Artificial Intelligence is Sophia-The Robot

Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by Hong Kong based company Hanson Robotics. Sophia was activated on February 14, 2016,^[1] and made her first public appearance at South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) in mid-March 2016 in Austin, Texas, United States.^[2] She is able to display more than 60 facial expressions.

Sophia uses artificial intelligence, visual data processing and facial recognition.

Sophia the robot has become a cultural icon.

Sophia been touted as the future of AI, but it may be more of a social experiment masquerading as a PR stunt.
